Still a few beach days left in the season to enjoy Menemsha. Tim Johnson

Sunday, September 27, 2020

Around us, the natural world is responding to seasonal changes. Birds are migrating, poison ivy vines along woodland paths are turning crimson and caterpillars are on the move.

We've enjoyed the second blossoming of sweet clematis, and at farm stands across the Island, a healthy pumpkin crop is in. Here at the knife-edge of the year, poised between summer and fall, it’s hard not to appreciate the drama of the seasons.

Had the privilege to spend time on the Vineyard with a dear friend who grew up there. I miss that!!c

Tim, that weeping willow shot is a total stunner. The light and contrasts along with the motion in the willow branches really are breath taking. Thanks!
