INVITATION FOR BIDS

The Town of Edgartown, acting through its Beautification Committee, is seeking sealed bids for a landscape construction project at the Edgartown Police Station. The location of the work is 72 Pease’s Point Way, Edgartown, MA 02539. The work will be performed in spring/early summer 2017. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor and materials necessary to do the work. Bid submission information will be available electronically or in hard copy at 10:00AM on Thursday 2/16/17; please call (508)627-6185 or email jmulinare@edgartown-ma.us to obtain a copy. Bids must be submitted, sealed and in writing, to the Town of Edgartown Procurement Office, Edgartown Town Hall, Third Floor, 70 Main Street (or mailed to P.O. Box 5158), Edgartown Massachusetts 02539, in an envelope plainly marked “Bid for POLICE STATION IMPROVEMENTS-LANDSCAPING, REF EPD-17-26” on or before 11:00AM, Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Award will be made within fifteen (15) business days after the submission due date. Bidders must submit a five percent (5%) bid deposit with their bid. Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, chapter 149, sections 26 and 27, the Division of Occupational Safety has determined the Prevailing Wage Rates for this work and they are included as part of the IFB. The Town of Edgartown reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in its best interest. EDGARTOWN PLANNING BOARD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING American Tower, 59 North St

The Edgartown Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 6:10PM in the Edgartown Town Hall – Selectmen’s Meeting Room – 1st Floor on the application of East Coast Communications on behalf of American Tower to replace damaged diagonals, conduct structural and non-structural work, plumb and tension tower.
