Edgartown Board of Health Public Hearing Notice

Will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 6:15PM at the Town Hall located at 70 Main Street, first floor meeting room, Edgartown, MA to adopt the following regulation: As allowed under M.G.L. Ch. 111 sec. 31, The Board of Health of the Town of Edgartown hereby requires that owners, operators and inspectors or monitors of all innovative/alternative sewage disposal treatment technologies (IAT) must report the results of all operation, maintenance and monitoring activities to Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment (BCHOH). Such reporting must be performed in the manner specified by the BCDOH and must occur within 30 days after each maintenance or monitoring event. Further, when a system operator performs a system inspection and finds that a treatment technology has malfunctioning components which have comprised the system’s ability to treat sewage as designed, the operator shall report on the system status and any planned corrective actions to the Board of Health and the BCDOH within 48 hrs. of the inspection. L.L.C, d/b/a The Dunes, Roland Georges, Manager has applied for permission to alter the licensed premise of the seasonal restaurant license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises and change of type of license from a common victuallers license to a hotel license. The Town of Edgartown is seeking competitive sealed bids for the provision and maintenance of 19 Portable Toilet Units, for the 2017 summer season, at 3 locations: South Beach, Robinson Rd Recreation Area, and the Edgartown Park ‘N Ride. Number of units and period of services vary by location. The Contractor will be responsible for providing all labor and materials necessary to do the work.
