Sealed bids for furnishing the following will be received at the Public Works Department, 115 High Point Lane, Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts 02568 until the time specified below at which time the bids will be opened and read during a ZOOM meeting live streaming. Due to COVID 19, group assembly and meeting restrictions, there will not be an in person opening. All interested parties can request log in credentials by contacting the Department of Public Works. March 11, 2021 at 2:30PM For the Purchase and installation of the Steeple for the Town Hall Building Bid Documents and bid forms may be obtained at the Department of Public Works, 115 High Point Lane, Vineyard Haven MA, or by emailing Marie Maciel at mmaciel@tisburyma.gov. Bid must be accompanied by a bid security of CASH, CERTIFIED CHECK, or BID BOND issued by a responsible bank or trust company licensed to do business in the State of Massachusetts in the amount of 5% of the total bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days, after the date set for the opening thereof. Attention is directed to the minimum wage rates to be paid as determined by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D inclusive. The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G. L. Chapter 30, Section 39M and the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39S.
