The Tisbury Planning Board

Seeks letters of interest from town residents who would like to serve on a newly formed Open Space and Park Committee. This Spring the Planning Board completed an update of the Town's Open Space and Recreation Plan and submitted the Plan to the State Department of conservation and Recreation for final review and approval. The full plan is available on the Planning board Page of the Town Website.

The Planning Board is now looking for town residents to serve on an Open Space and Park Committee. The ‘ working’ committee will be responsible for prioritizing and carrying out recommendations of the Tisbury 2019 Open Space and Recreation Plan. We are looking for members who are action oriented, and able to work collaboratively. Given the recommendations in the plan, interest/experience in the following areas are desirable: environmental and site assessment, planning and site design, recreation planning, public communication, and financial planning.
