Years from now. when they go Hollywood and won’t return your calls you’ll be able to say, yeah, well I saw them back in the day when they were still green in the green room. That’s if you head out this week and next to the Vineyard Playhouse’s annual fourth grade theatre project.

First up are the kids from the Oak Bluffs School performing tonight at 7 p.m. and then again tomorrow, Saturday, at 3 p.m. The offerings include Zippo and the Lost Kids, Yippee Whipped Cream!, Deep Dark Forest Adventure and the Money versus Candy Caper. Also this weekend on Saturday, Nov. 13, at 1 and 7 p.m. are the young thespians of the West Tisbury School hitting their marks in S.O.S., K.I.D.S. — in Search of Lost Treasure, the Lost Child and Search for Snugglies.

Next weekend on Saturday, Nov. 20 at 2 and 7 p.m. the Tisbury School takes their star turn in What a Mess!, Legend of Dead Man’s Rock, Crabcakes, Anyone?, Old West Train Station Adventure, the Riddles of Ghost Town and Pickaxe Buckaroos.

All shows take place at the Vineyard Playhouse at 24 Church street in Vineyard Haven. Cost is $5 for all tickets; at the door only.
