Trinity Episcopal Church welcomes Rev. Karen B. Montagno as celebrant this Sunday, July 10, at 9 a.m. All are welcome. The church is located across from the Steamship Authority in Oak Bluffs.

Coeditor of Injustice and the Care of Souls, the Rev. Montagno has worked for more than 21 years in higher education.

Ms. Montagno is priest associate at Christ Church Cambridge; first vice president for the Massachusetts chapter of the Union of Black Episcopalians; vice chair of the executive committee of Episcopal City Mission; associate of the Society of St. John the Evangelist; and a colleague of Bethany House of Prayer.

She was dean of students for 13 years at Episcopal Divinity School, in Cambridge, including nine as dean of St. John’s Memorial Chapel, and served on mission trips to South Africa, Honduras and Panama.
