Spring is in the air and that means romance. All our residents are hoping someone will come into the shelter and fall in love with them so they can find their forever homes.

Any gray cat lovers out there? Lola is a petite seven-year-old who is a purebred Russian Blue. She is playful, sweet, adores attention, and has a lovely purr. And she is absolutely gorgeous. Also hoping to find the new love of his life is Lyle, a five-year-old tuxedo who is very friendly, affectionate, and quite handsome. He would prefer to be your one and only.

Since Beauty has gone to her new forever home Tosh is now spending his time in the lobby with the staff and volunteers. He is a large brown tabby Manx who is 11 years young. He also loves attention and is sweet as can be. Is there a Manx lover out there to fall in love with him?

Still in the cat room is four-year-old tuxedo Maryanne, who loves attention and is quite affectionate once she gets to know you. Maryanne has an adoption pending. Chaps, the 11-year-old white and black boy, is still with us, as is the old man Milo, whose adoption fee will be waived due to his advanced age. Are there any special angels out there to fall in love with these boys?

Our last resident looking for someone to spend his remaining years with is nine-year-old English bulldog Bubbles. He got his name from his ability to blow bubbles, which is a sight to see. He is white with brown markings, super affectionate, and well trained. He is spending his days greeting visitors in the lobby. Stop by to see if he could be the love of your life.

And a big thank you to the Harbor View Hotel. Pet Portrait Paint Night on Feb. 20 has raised $125 for the shelter so far. Many thanks to all who attended and made the night a success.
