This Saturday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. is a celebration of invention at the first Martha’s Vineyard Mini Maker Faire at the Agricultural Hall in West Tisbury. The event is a family-friendly festival of creativity and resourcefulness. Part science fair, part craft fair, the event is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists and students.

Stop by the Agricultural Hall to see what your fellow Islanders have been up to, from grammar school kids programming video games to Tim Laursen’s amazing Sun Bird mechanical sculpture.
