Edgartown selectmen Monday approved the transfer of a seasonal alcohol license from Flatbread Company to Once Again, Inc., a company that plans to open a new seasonal restaurant at the location near the Martha’s Vineyard Airport.

Brion McGroarty and his son Jack McGroarty will operate the new restaurant, to be named Tin Hangar.

Last month, the owners said they expect to open in late July or early August.

The transfer included a change of premises to establish an outdoor seating area. The new alcohol license will include the upper section of the former Flatbread Pizza, and a new 1,102-square-foot outdoor dining patio in the front of the building.

According to attorney Sean Murphy, who represented the new company before selectmen at their Monday meeting, the lower section of the restaurant will be leased to a third party and is not part of the alcohol license.

Also Monday selectmen appointed Elyce Bonnell, circulation supervisor at the Edgartown Library, as the employee representative to the personnel board. Ms. Bonnell was the choice of town employees, who voted by ballot.
