The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

Nov. 21

Christopher J. Camacho, 23, of Oak Bluffs, will have Nov. 20 charge of disorderly conduct in Oak Bluffs dismissed if eight hours of community service and $150 in court costs are completed/paid by Dec. 21.

Erik Vanlandingham, 34, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on Nov. 20 charges in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery on a family/household member and strangulation/suffocation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Dec. 29.

Dec. 1

Sean M. Geddis, 24, of New Bedford, pleaded guilty on August 14 charge in Oak Bluffs of possessing a class B drug (suboxone), placed on probation for 18 months, concurrent with another case, and ordered to have evaluation with DCCCC and to follow any program/treatment, and to pay $50 victim/witness assessment fee and $65 monthly probation services fee. Guilty finding filed for six months with defendant’s consent on charge of disorderly conduct, charge of interfering with a police officer (common law) dismissed upon request of the commonwealth. In a separate case, pleaded guilty on Sept. 10 charge in Oak Bluffs of malicious destruction of property less than $250 (kitchen cabinet), amended from malicious destruction of property more than $250, placed on probation for 18 months and ordered to have evaluation at DCCCC and follow any treatment/program including substance abuse/addiction and anger management. Ordered to pay $150 in restitution, victim/witness assessment fee waived.

Warley C. Miranda, 47, of Oak Bluffs, placed on six months of pretrial probation on May 2 charge in Oak Bluffs of violating an abuse prevention order, ordered to have counseling evaluation and engage in counseling as recommended and to abide by all restraining orders and conditions.

Wilkeson Moreira, 27, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on Nov. 26 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 5.

Dec. 2

Claire I. Kozlowski, 30, of Edgartown, arraigned on Dec. 1 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and leaving the scene of property damage. According to a police report filed in court, charges stem from an alleged two-car accident at the Tisbury Shell station. Pretrial hearing is scheduled for Dec. 15.

Dana M. Rhule, 38, of Brooklyn, N.Y., admitted to sufficient facts on July 23 charge in Chilmark of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay $300 in fees and a $50 monthly probation services fee. Charge of drunken driving was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth and found not responsible on marked lanes violation.

Alaric K. Swift, 57, of Vineyard Haven, admitted to sufficient facts on Oct. 27 charge in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery on a family/household member, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay $50 victim/witness assessment fee and $50 monthly probation fee, and not to abuse alleged victim.

James T. Tilton, 49, of Vineyard Haven, placed on one year of pretrial probation on Oct. 10 charge in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery on a family/household member, ordered not to abuse a named individual.

Dec. 5

Ashlee Alexander, 28, of New Bedford, placed on one year of pretrial probation on July 2012 charge of larceny more than $250 by a single scheme, ordered to pay $1,668 in restitution. According to police report, charge stems from alleged thefts from Stop & Shop while she was employed there, through unauthorized activation of gift cards and fraudulent returns and other transactions.

Sean Deal, 39, of Vineyard Haven, found guilty on July 15 charge in Edgartown of disorderly conduct, ordered to pay $150 fine/assessment. Charges of resisting arrest and threat to commit a crime were dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Aeden L. Greene, 23, of Vineyard Haven, admitted to sufficient facts on July 27 charge in Vineyard Haven of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay $300 in fees and $50 monthly probation services fee and to complete 20 hours of community service. Charge of drunken driving dismissed upon request of the commonwealth and found not responsible on marked lanes violation. Charge of possessing a class B drug (LSD) to be dismissed if $200 in costs is paid by Jan. 4.

Kevin J. Leaf Jr., 32, of Coventry, R.I., arraigned on Dec. 4 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, third offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operating motor vehicle with license suspended, subsequent offense, leaving the scene of property damage, marked lanes violation, and vandalizing property. According to police report filed in court, charges stem from single car accident in which vehicle allegedly hit road sign and utility pole. Bail set at $10,000 and pretrial hearing scheduled for Dec. 27.
