The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

Dec. 1

Sean M. Geddis, 24, of Vineyard Haven, pleaded guilty on Sept. 10 charge in Oak Bluffs of malicious destru ction of property less than $250 (kitchen cabinet), amended from malicious destruction of property more than $250, placed on probation for 18 months, concurrent with another case, and ordered to pay $150 in restitution, to undergo evaluation at DCCCC and to follow any program/treatment including substance abuse/addiction and anger management.

Dec. 8

Joshua D. Campbell, 41, of Vineyard Haven, admitted to sufficient facts on August 21 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees and $65 monthly probation supervision fee, to complete 24-day driver alcohol education program and to lose license for 45 days. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed upon request of the commonwealth, and found not responsible on marked lanes violation.

Jason Cournoyer, 40, of Vineyard Haven, placed on one year of pretrial probation on August 15 charges in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (truck) and threat to commit a crime, ordered to stay away from a named individual and the Martha’s Vineyard Chamber of Commerce.

Colleen A. Francis, 63, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on Oct. 5 charge in Oak Bluffs of two counts of leaving the scene of property damage. Charges stem from allegedly hitting rocks and ornamental bushes while driving. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 13.

Nicholas Graham, 27, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on Oct. 8 charge in Vineyard Haven of criminal harassment. According to police report filed in court, charge stems from alleged ongoing issue with another taxi driver. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 13.

Edmund J. Lemoine, 52, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on Nov. 2 charge in Oak Bluffs of negligent operation of motor vehicle. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 12.

William P. Munson, 32, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on Oct. 23 charges in Edgartown of leaving the scene of property damage and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. According to a police report filed in court, charges stem from allegedly rear-ending a vehicle and leaving scene without reporting. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 13.

Joseph E. Peters, 37, of Oak Bluffs pleaded guilty on a May 23 charge in Edgartown of violation of abuse prevention order. Sentenced to six months in house of correction, concurrent with another case and 199 days of credit given. In a separate case, May 11 charge of violation of abuse prevention order was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Glen D. Reilly, 60, of Chilmark, admitted to sufficient facts on Oct. 29 charge in West Tisbury of drunken driving, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees and $65 monthly probation supervision fee, to complete 24-day driver alcohol education course and to lose license for 45 days. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed upon request of the commonwealth and found not responsible on marked lanes violation.

Michael J. Vicalvi, 66, of Edgartown, arraigned on Sept. 9 charges in Oak Bluffs of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 12.

Dec. 9

Aline S. Braga, 32, of Oak Bluffs, admitted to sufficient facts on Oct. 20 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, continued without a finding for one year. Thomas Buckley, 26, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on Nov. 12 charges in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery and threat to commit a crime. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 13.

John D. Cecilio, 59, of Vineyard Haven, admitted to sufficient facts on August 14 charge in Vineyard Haven, continued without a finding for six months. Ordered to pay $50 victim/witness assessment fee.

Jillian Dipietro, 33, of Vineyard Haven, found not guilty in a bench trial on April 8 charge in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving. Found guilty on charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, ordered to pay $550 in fees, court orders no further license loss. Found responsible on charge of possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, ordered to pay $500 fine/assessment. Found not responsible on charge of marked lanes violation.

Jessica Elsasser, 32, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on Nov. 5 charges in West Tisbury of drunken driving, second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation. According to police report filed in court, charges stem from alleged single-car crash on West Tisbury Road. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 30.

Daniel C. Ferry, 25, of West Tisbury, pleaded guilty on Sept. 15 charge in Vineyard Haven of vandalizing property, ordered to pay $100 restitution and stay away from/not to contact a named individual. Charge of malicious destruction of property more than $250 dismissed upon request of the commonwealth. In a separate case, pleaded guilty on Sept. 15 charge in Oak Bluffs of vandalizing property, placed on probation for one year, ordered to pay $930.50 in restitution and not to contact/stay away from a named individual.

Wesley J. Gilpin, 26, of Oak Bluffs, pleaded guilty on August 1 charge in Edgartown of trespassing, amended from breaking and entering for a misdemeanor, guilty finding filed for six months. Charge of malicious destruction of property less than $250 dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Roland E. Jahn, 75, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on April 27 charge in Vineyard Haven of distributing material of a child in sexual act. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 30.

Reece T. Strelecki-Boyd, 24, of Edgartown, pleaded guilty on Oct. 12 charge in Edgartown of carrying a dangerous weapon (double-edged knife), amended from carrying a dangerous weapon, second offense. Ordered to pay $300 fine/assessment

Dec. 13

Leigh Rogers, 56, of Vineyard Haven had April 9 charges in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (shod foot) dismissed upon failure to prosecute, noting lack of alleged victim cooperation.
