The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

Dec. 27

Ian K. Bardwell, 21, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on Sept. 10 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving with serious injury, failure to dim headlights, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. According to police report filed in court, charges stem from two car crash in which both cars allegedly had major damage and there were injuries. Bail set at $5,000 and pretrial hearing scheduled for Feb. 16.

Jessica A. Collier-Major, 25, of Vineyard Haven, was found not guilty in a bench trial on June 13 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Found not responsible on marked lanes violation.

Caroline E. Derrig, 42, of Vineyard Haven, admitted to sufficient facts on Nov. 4 charge in Vineyard Haven of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, continued without a finding for one year and ordered to pay $300 in fees and $50 monthly probation services fee and to complete 20 hours of community service. Charge of drunken driving dismissed upon request of the commonwealth and found not responsible on marked lanes violation.

Richard J. Glassberg, 73, of Oak Bluffs, was placed on six months of pretrial probation on Sept. 10 charge in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery, ordered not to contact and to stay away from alleged victim and his/her residence.

James W. Hart, 21, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on Dec. 26 charge in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery on a police officer. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 26.

Laura B. Maciel, 46, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on Dec. 3 charges in West Tisbury of breaking and entering for misdemeanor, trespassing, and larceny less than $250 (curtain rod). Pretrial hearing scheduled for Feb. 3.

Michael T. Rebello, 32, of Oak Bluffs, admitted to sufficient facts on April 4, 2015 charge in Oak Bluffs of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay $300 in fees and $50 monthly probation services fee and to complete 20 hours of community service. Charge of drunken driving dismissed upon request of the commonwealth and found not responsible on possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and failure to stop/yield.

Linda S. Shapiro, 70, of Oak Bluffs, admitted to sufficient facts on Dec. 16 charge in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees and $65 monthly probation services fee and to complete 24-day driver alcohol education fee and to lose license for 45 days. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Lisa L. Vinjerud, 34, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on Dec. 23 charges in Oak Bluffs of shoplifting by concealing merchandise, assault and battery, and disorderly conduct. According to police report filed in court, allegedly took about $51 in merchandise from Basics and allegedly assaulted store employee who confronted her. Bail set at $1,000 and pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 5.

Dec. 29

Larissa Lovasco, 36, of Vineyard Haven, pleaded guilty on July 13 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, second offense, sentenced to 90 days in a house of correction, sentenced suspended and placed on probation for two years. Ordered to complete 14-day inpatient program and aftercare and to remain alcohol free and pay $350 in fees and $65 monthly probation services fee, community service option. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed upon request of the commonwealth, and found not responsible on charges of possessing an open container of a motor vehicle, speeding in violation of special regulation, and marked lanes violation.

Dec. 30

Aaron Bezahler, 21, of Vineyard Haven, will have August 12 charge in Edgartown of possessing a class E drug (clonazepam) dismissed if $100 in costs paid by Jan. 18.

Benjamin Dunbar, 33, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on July 29 charge in Vineyard Haven of leaving the scene of property damage (fence, stone wall). Pretrial hearing scheduled for Feb. 3.

Jenna Lambert, 23, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on Nov. 19 charges in Edgartown of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation and speeding. According to police report filed in court, charges stem from one car motor vehicle crash on Meshacket Road. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Feb. 3.

Corey A. Tiews, 22, of Littleton N.H., will have August 25 charges in Vineyard Haven of defacing property and disorderly conduct dismissed if $150 in costs is paid by Feb. 1.
