The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

August 24

Cordiero Newton, 27, of Montclair, N.J., admitted sufficient facts on July 3 charge in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, continued without finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees an $65 monthly probation services fee, to complete driver alcohol education course and to lose license for 45 days. Charge of negligent operation of motor vehicle dismissed upon request of commonwealth and found not responsible on marked lanes violation.

Erin E. Pye, 33, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on August 24 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving and negligent operation of motor vehicle. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 1.

Lynsey Telford, 42, of West Tisbury, pleaded guilty on July 4 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, placed on probation for two years, ordered to pay $600 in fees and $65 monthly probation services fee, complete driver alcohol education fee, lose license for 45 days, and remain alcohol free with screens when in United States. Allowed to travel outside the U.S. Charge of negligent operation of motor vehicle dismissed upon request of commonwealth and found not responsible on state highway — wrong way. In separate case, admitted sufficient facts on July 18 charges in West Tisbury of negligent operation of motor vehicle and operating motor vehicle with license suspended, continued without finding for two years and ordered to pay $300 in fees. Charge of drunken driving dismissed upon request of commonwealth. Found not responsible on marked lanes violation and possessing open container of alcohol in motor vehicle.

Matea Vukson, 20, of Oak Bluffs, pleaded guilty on July 6 charge in Vineyard Haven of unlicensed operation of motor vehicle, ordered to pay $300 fine/assessment. Charge of leaving scene of property damage dismissed upon request of commonwealth.

August 25

Brian N. Foster, 31, of Edgartown, admitted to sufficient facts on August 1 charge in Edgartown of drunken driving, continued without finding for one year and ordered to pay $600 in fees and $65 monthly probation services fee, complete driver alcohol education program, lose license for 45 days, and complete 24Q alcohol/drug assessment. Charge of negligent operation of motor vehicle dismissed upon request of commonwealth and found not responsible on failure to stop/yield.

Bryan R. Geggatt, 33, of Johnston, R.I., will have July 22 charge in Oak Bluffs of disorderly conduct dismissed if $300 in costs is paid forthwith. Charge of assault and battery dismissed upon request of commonwealth.

Jaquelan E. Gomez, 26, of Oak Bluffs, admitted to sufficient facts on July 27 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, continued without finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees and $65 monthly probation services fee, to complete driver alcohol education course and to lose license for 45 days. Charge of negligent operation of motor vehicle and unlicensed operation of motor vehicle dismissed upon request of commonwealth and found not responsible on motor vehicle lights violation.

James W. Hart, 22, of Vineyard Haven, pleaded guilty on June 20 charges in Vineyard Haven of two counts malicious destruction of property more than $250, sentenced to two and a half years in a house of correction, sentenced suspended and placed on probation for two and a half years. Ordered to remain drug and alcohol free with screens and treatment as mandated by probation. Charge of vandalizing property dismissed upon request of commonwealth. According to police report, charges stemmed from damaging police cruisers.

Terrence L. Hood, 31, of Boca Raton, Fla., admitted to sufficient facts on June 2 charge in Oak Buffs of drunken driving, continued without finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees and $65 monthly probation services fee, complete driver alcohol education program and lose license for 45 days. Charge of negligent operation of motor vehicle dismissed upon request of commonwealth and found not responsible on marked lanes violation.

Ruben P. Madeira, 37, of West Tisbury, arraigned on Jan. 9 charges in Vineyard Haven of larceny from building, breaking and entering to steal firearm, and larceny of firearm. According to police report filed in court, charges relate to allegedly stealing a 9 mm handgun from a Vineyard Haven home. Bail set at $500 and pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 28

Sarah V. Page, 25, of Anchorage, Alaska, arraigned on August 25 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving second offense, unlicensed operation of motor vehicle, motor vehicle lights violation, negligent operation of motor vehicle, possessing open container of alcohol in motor vehicle, and motor vehicle operator refusing to identify self. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 11.

Shane K. True, 35, of Vineyard Haven, will have July 22 charge in Oak Bluffs of disorderly conduct subsequent offense dismissed if $300 in costs is paid by Oct. 4. Charge of municipal bylaw or ordinance violation dismissed upon request of commonwealth.

August 28

Ryan N. Dillon, 37, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on August 25 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving second offense, negligent operation of motor vehicle, and state highway —wrong way. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Oct. 20.

Jared C. McCauley, 24, of Hudson, N.H., arraigned on August 26 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 29.
