The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

Nov. 13

David C. Hawkins, 56, of Vineyard Haven, pleaded guilty on March 4 charges in Vineyard Haven of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, ordered to pay $650 in fines/assessments. Two counts of threat to commit a crime dismissed upon request of commonwealth.

Michael J. Murphy, 65, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on Nov. 13 charge in Edgartown of trespassing. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Dec. 14.

Nov. 16

Thomas Buckley, 27, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on July 16 charges in Vineyard Haven of larceny more than $250 and larceny less than $250. According to police report filed in court, allegedly removed sailboat from mooring in Lagoon Pond and removed anchor and various lines from the sailboat.

David C. Hawkins, 56, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on Nov. 14 charge in Oak Bluffs of disorderly conduct. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Dec. 4.

Jonathan C. Killoran, 28, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on Nov. 15 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, negligent operation of motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, and possessing class B drug (cocaine). Bail set at $500 and pretrial hearing scheduled for Dec. 15.

Peter J. Maile, 50, of Falmouth, had three charges of larceny by check less than $250 from February and April 2016 dismissed upon request of commonwealth.

Melissa C. Martin, 47, of Oak Bluffs, found guilty in a bench trial on May 10 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving and using motor vehicle without authority, placed on probation for one year and ordered to pay $600 in fees, complete driver alcohol education program, and lose license for 45 days. Found not guilty on negligent operation of motor vehicle and unlicensed operation of motor vehicle, responsible finding filed on motor vehicle lights violation and marked lanes violation.

Dennis A. Vogel, 59, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on Nov. 15 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, second offense, negligent operation of motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Dec. 14.

Nov. 17

Jasmine Jemison, 43, of Vineyard Haven, had Oct. 14 charges in Oak Bluffs of assault with dangerous weapon and assault and battery on family/household member dismissed upon request of the commonwealth, request of alleged victim.

Robert B. McLaughlin, 19, of Vineyard Haven, had Feb. 11 charge in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery dismissed upon request of commonwealth, request of alleged victim.

Randall J. Oliveira, 49, of Edgartown, had August 26 charges in Edgartown of assault and battery on family/household member and strangulation or suffocation dismissed upon request of commonwealth, request of alleged victim.

Saiid Rivera, 37, of Edgartown, arraigned on Nov. 16 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, negligent operation of motor vehicle, unregistered vehicle, and speeding in violation of special regulation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Dec. 15.

Josiah I. Sylva, 38, of Vineyard Haven, pleaded guilty on Oct. 6 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, placed on probation for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees and $65 monthly probation services fee, complete driver alcohol education program and lose license for 45 days. Admitted to sufficient facts on charge of negligent operation of motor vehicle, continued without finding for one year. Charge of child endangerment while operating under the influence dismissed upon request of commonwealth and found not responsible on marked lanes violation.

Nov. 20

Beth Butler, 51, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on July 17 charge in Edgartown of larceny more than $250. According to police report filed in court, allegedly embezzled more than $30,000 from employer to pay a personal credit card. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 5.

Kira K. Choate, 33, of West Dover, Vt., found not guilty in a bench trial on August 8, 2016 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving and negligent operation of motor vehicle. Found responsible on marked lanes violation and ordered to pay $100 fine, found not responsible on charge of speeding.

Brian G. Cusack, 62, of Braintree, had August 31 charge in Edgartown of leaving scene of property damage dismissed upon request of commonwealth.

Shauna L. Fullin, 37, of Vineyard Haven, had May 13 charge in Vineyard Haven dismissed upon request of commonwealth, alleged victim asserts fifth amendment rights.

Thomas R. Grimm, 26, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on Nov. 19 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, negligent operation of motor vehicle, license not in possession and speeding in violation of special regulation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Dec. 29.

Monica N. Knight, 22, of Halifax, pleaded guilty on July 13 charge of negligent operation of motor vehicle, sentenced to six months in a house of correction, to be served concurrently with another case and commuted to Framingham. Charge of drunken driving dismissed upon request of commonwealth and found not responsible on marked lanes violation.

Alassane Sow, 44, of Vineyard Haven, had July 3 charge in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery on family/household member dismissed upon request of commonwealth, noting alleged victim asserts fifth amendment rights.

Curtis D. Wolfe, 29, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on August 23 charge in Vineyard Haven of criminal harassment. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 5.
