Geralyn W. Dreyfous, 55, of Salt Lake City, Utah, will have an August 11 charge in Edgartown of shoplifting by asportation dismissed if $100 in costs is paid forthwith.

Nov. 30

Speros Beldekas, 43, of Wakefield, arraigned on August 30 charge in Edgartown of assault and battery. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Dec. 29.

Gregory M. Fournier, 35, of Edgartown, admitted sufficient facts on Oct. 16 charge in Edgartown of assault and battery, continued without finding for six months and ordered to complete eight hours of community service and pay $50 victim/witness assessment fee and $50 monthly probation services fee. Charge of disorderly conduct dismissed upon request of commonwealth.

John M. Gibson 2nd, 34, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on Sept. 29 charges in Vineyard Haven of three counts of receiving stolen property more than $250 (two gold wedding bands and sapphire/diamond engagement ring). In another case, arraigned on one count of receiving stolen property more than $250 (diamond pendant). Pretrial hearings scheduled for Jan. 29.

William F. McGourty, 54, of Vineyard Haven, found not guilty in bench trial on August 16 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving and negligent operation of motor vehicle. Found responsible on marked lanes violation, ordered to pay $100 fine/assessment.

John J. Tripp, 23, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on Nov. 29 charges in Vineyard Haven of failure to stop for police, motor vehicle lights violation, and operating motor vehicle with license suspended. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 17.

Dec. 1

Corey S. Cross, 26, of Vineyard Haven, admitted to sufficient facts on Oct. 11, 2015 charge in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, continued without finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees and 65 monthly probation services fee, complete driver alcohol education program, and lose license for 45 days. Charge of negligent operation of motor vehicle dismissed upon request of commonwealth and found not responsible on marked lanes violation.

Romario Steer, 22, of Oak Bluffs, placed on six months of pretrial probation on August 19 charge in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery, ordered to complete 40 hours of community service.

Dec. 4

Monica H. Burrows, 43, of Belmont, will have March 20 charges in Oak Bluffs of evading taxi fare and shoplifting by concealing merchandise dismissed upon payment of $40 restitution and completion of eight hours of community service by Jan. 10. In separate case, March 22 charge in Oak Bluffs of shoplifting by concealing merchandise will be dismissed if $100 in costs paid by Jan. 10.

Justin Cameron, 20, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on June 25 charge in West Tisbury of possessing a class C drug (methamphetamine). Pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 8.
