Vacation week brought in a family looking for guinea pigs. Abyssinian sisters Mimi and Edie have moved on to their new home. The sisters were delighted to be able to stay together.

Holly is our cat room resident. She’s a five-year-old gray and black tabby, a bigger girl who is a bit on the shy side. She has a sweet and gentle nature, enjoys attention, has fun playing, and is an indoor/outdoor cat. Holly would be happiest in a quiet home with no children, and with an owner who has the patience to allow her to come out of her shell at her own pace. Could she be your new companion?

Easter is coming in a few weeks and lop-eared bunny Mel is still hopping and hoping to find his forever home. He’s a large white neutered male who is only a year old. His brindle ears are very cute with one straight and the other flopping down. He is friendly and enjoys attention. He’ll sit on your lap and allow you to pet or brush him for as long as you like. He also talks with cute little grunts. Stop in and meet him and see if he’ll eat a carrot or lettuce for you. Who knows, love may blossom with this sweet rabbit, he’s a keeper.

Here are some upcoming dates to remember. There is a nail clinic tomorrow, March 10, from 10 a.m. to noon and another on April 21. Suggested donation is $15.
