The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

Feb. 1

Luana E. Dias, 35, of Oak Bluffs, will not be prosecuted on Jan. 20 charges in Edgartown of drunken driving, negligent operation of motor vehicle, and speeding, rate of speed exceeding posted limit.

March 1

Fernando Carvalho, 29, of Boston, will have July 19 charges in Vineyard Haven of possessing a class B drug (cocaine) and unlicensed operation of motor vehicle dismissed if $1,000 in costs is paid by June 27. Found not responsible on marked lanes violation.

Wemerson P. Deoliveira, 37, of Vineyard Haven, will have June 21 charge in Vineyard haven of larceny by check more than $250 dismissed upon failure to prosecute; private complainant never signed complaint.

Amanda McFarland, 21, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on Feb. 27 charge in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery. Pretrial hearing scheduled for March 8.

Kaique B. Oliveira-Silva, 20, of Chelsea, arraigned on Feb. 26 charges in Vineyard Haven of operating under influence of drugs (marijuana), negligent operation of motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, unlicensed operation of motor vehicle, and no inspection/sticker. Pretrial hearing scheduled for May 10.

Mark T. Przybylo, 52 of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on Feb. 28 charges in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery on person over 60 and disorderly conduct. Bail set at $1,000 and pretrial hearing scheduled for March 30.

March 5

Dalibor Petrovic, 30, of Edgartown, will have March 4 charge of trespassing in Edgartown dismissed upon completion of four hours community service.
