The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

March 25

Adrian A. Masters, 28, of West Tisbury, arraigned on March 25 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, negligent operation of motor vehicle, improper operation of motor vehicle, and unlicensed operation of motor vehicle. Pretrial hearing scheduled for May 11. March 26 Scott W. Dario, 49, of Vineyard Haven, had Feb. 21 charge in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery on family/household member dismissed upon request of the commonwealth and with failure of alleged victim to cooperate.

March 29

Jonas Alves-Deoliveira, 62, of Edgartown, admitted sufficient facts and was found guilty on March 13, 2016 charge in Edgartown of drunken driving in Edgartown, ordered to pay $850 in fees. Found not responsible on charges of speeding in violation of special regulation and marked lanes violation.

Steven A. Flodstrom, 62, of South Walpole, pleaded guilty on Sept. 25 charge in Oak Bluffs of breaking and entering for misdemeanor, sentenced to six months in house of correction, suspended for 18 months and place on probation for 18 months, ordered to pay $50 victim/witness assessment fee and $50 monthly probation services fee and to stay away from/not to contact alleged victim. Charges of malicious destruction of property less than $250 and trespassing dismissed upon request of commonwealth.

Maria A. Kelly, 63, of Oak Bluffs, admitted sufficient facts on Feb. 4 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, second offense, continued without a finding, ordered to pay $600 in fees and $65 monthly probation services fee, complete driver alcohol education program and lose license for 45 days in Cahill disposition. Charge of negligent operation of motor vehicle dismissed upon request of commonwealth and found not responsible on marked lanes violation.

Graciano D. Rocha, 30, of Vineyard Haven, will have Oct. 7 charge in Oak Bluffs of unlicensed operation of motor vehicle dismissed if $250 in costs is paid forthwith. Charge of resisting arrest dismissed upon request of commonwealth and found not responsible on unregistered motor vehicle. In separate case, Oct. 10 charge of operating motor vehicle with licensed suspended in Edgartown will be dismissed if $500 in costs are paid and 20 hours community service completed by May 23.

Samantha Westray, 27, of Wilton, Conn., was found not guilty on Jan. 7, 2017 charges in Edgartown of drunken driving and negligent operation of motor vehicle. Found responsible on marked lanes violation, ordered to pay $100 fine/assessment.

March 30

Richard C. Atkinson, 25, of Vineyard Haven, placed on one year of pretrial probation on Oct. 24 charge in West Tisbury of assault with a deadly weapon (knife).

Felix Reagan, 21, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on March 15 charge in Edgartown of assault and battery. Pretrial hearing scheduled for May 11.

Saiid J. Rivera, 38, of Edgartown, had Nov. 16 charge in Oak Bluffs dismissed upon request of commonwealth. Admitted to sufficient facts on charge of negligent operation of motor vehicle, continued without finding for one year and ordered to pay $300 in fees and $50 monthly probation services fee. Found not responsible on speeding in violation of special regulation.

Collin A. Shea, 22, of Edgartown, was placed on 18 months of pretrial probation on three counts of selling/delivering liquor to a person under 21, ordered to complete eight hours of community service.
