The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

May 4

Slaven Dejanovic, 32, of Edgartown, pleaded guilty on August 14 charge in Vineyard Haven of leaving the scene of personal injury, placed on probation for one year and ordered to pay $50 victim/witness assessment fee, $50 monthly probation services fee, and restitution to be determined, no taxi license and no ride share driving (Uber, Lyft, etc.). Found not responsible on crosswalk violation. In separate case, admitted sufficient facts on July 28 charge in Oak Bluffs of leaving scene of property damage, amended from leaving scene of personal injury, continued without a finding for one year, ordered to pay $50 victim/witness assessment fee and probation conditions as filed in other case.

Antonio R. Maldonado, 40, of Edgartown will have April 30 charge in Edgartown of disorderly conduct dismissed if $100 in costs is paid forthwith.

May 7

Joshua S. Robinson, 31, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on June 13, 2016 charges in Edgartown of leaving scene of property damage, negligent operation of motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, and speeding in violation of special regulation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for June 28.

May 10

Trevor H. Donaldson, 30, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on May 9 charges in West Tisbury of drunken driving, marked lanes violation, and speeding, rate of speed exceeding posted limit. Pretrial hearing scheduled for June 22.

Justin K. Leblanc, 44, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on May 10 charge in Edgartown of operating under the influence of drugs, (marijuana), second offense. Pretrial hearing scheduled for June 29.

Jose M. Vilaca, 60, of Oak Bluffs, admitted sufficient facts on July 2 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, continued without finding for one year, ordered to complete driver alcohol education program and lose license for 45 days, and pay $600 in fees and $65 monthly probation services fee. Charges of negligent operation of motor vehicle and failure to stop for police dismissed upon request of commonwealth, and found not responsible on marked lanes violation and no inspection/sticker.

May 14

Luiz V. Neto, 26, of Edgartown, found not guilty in a jury trial on June 5 charges in Oak bluffs of drunken driving and negligent operation of motor vehicle. Found responsible on unlicensed operation of motor vehicle (decriminalized), ordered to pay $50 fine/assessment. Found not responsible on marked lanes violation and registration not in possession.
