The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

May 25

Barrett A. Saben, 65, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on May 24 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, second offense and negligent operation of motor vehicle. Pretrial hearing scheduled for June 22.

May 29

Angela M. Cato, 45, of Maynard, arraigned on May 26 charge in Edgartown of assault and battery on family/household member. Pretrial hearing scheduled for June 25.

Erika J. Chancellor, 21, of Agawam, arraigned on May 29 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, negligent operation of motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation. In a separate case, arraigned on May 29 charge of assault and battery on a family/household member. Pretrial hearings scheduled for June 25.

Larysa Horbach, 31, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on May 14 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, negligent operation of motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, and possessing open container of motor vehicle in a motor vehicle.

Jonathan R. Jacobs, 28, of Vineyard Haven, had April 19 charge in Edgartown of assault and battery with dangerous weapon dismissed upon request of commonwealth.

Garrett J. Rice, 29, of Edgartown, placed on one year of pretrial probation on April 26 charge in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Natalie Smith, 36, of Oak Bluffs, admitted to sufficient facts on March 12 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving and negligent operation of motor vehicle, continued without a finding for two years and ordered to pay $850 in fees and $65 monthly probation services fee, ordered to complete driver alcohol education fee and to lose license for 45 days. Responsible finding filed on charges of marked lanes violation and failure to stop/yield. Charge of disorderly conduct dismissed upon request of commonwealth.

Robert F. Stephens, 69, of Mattapoisett, arraigned on May 26 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, negligent operation of motor vehicle, operating motor vehicle with license suspended, possessing open container of alcohol in motor vehicle, number plate violation, no inspection/sticker, and registration sticker missing. Pretrial hearing scheduled for July 9.

Jeffrey C. Warren, 37, of Worcester, arraigned on May 28 charge in Edgartown of assault and battery on family/household member. Bail set at $500 and pretrial hearing scheduled for June 29.

May 31

Kyle R. Anderson, 30, of Vineyard Haven, admitted sufficient facts on Jan. 17 charges in West Tisbury of breaking and entering a building in the daytime for a misdemeanor, amended from for a felony, and larceny less than $250, amended from larceny more than $250, continued without a finding for one year and ordered to pay $50 victim/witness assessment fee and $50 monthly probation fee, and to return property forthwith.

Eudes R. Deoliveira, 56, of Edgartown, pleaded guilty on Feb. 4, 2017 charges in Vineyard Haven of negligent operation of motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with licensed suspended, placed on probation for one year and ordered to pay $800 in fees and $50 monthly probation services fee. Found not responsible on marked lanes violation.

Wemerson P. Deoliveira, 37, of Vineyard Haven, had Oct. 4 and Oct. 11, 2016 charges in Edgartown of larceny by check more than $250 dismissed upon request of commonwealth. In separate cases, June 1, 2015 charge in Edgartown of larceny by check over $250 dismissed upon request of commonwealth and June 14, 2016 charge in Edgartown of larceny by check more than $250 was dismissed upon request of commonwealth.

Troy L. Hobby, 46, of Colfax, Wisc., arraigned on May 27 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, second offense, negligent operation of motor vehicle, and failure to yield at intersection. Pretrial hearing scheduled for July 6.

Noah Richards, 39, of West Tisbury, had March 16 charge in West Tisbury of assault and battery on family/household member dismissed upon request of commonwealth, failure of alleged victim to cooperate.

Cynthia Seymour, 60, of Edgartown, was arraigned on May 30 charge in Edgartown of trespassing. Pretrial hearing scheduled for July 9.
