The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

June 1

Jenna Santos, 19, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on May 31 charges in Vineyard Haven of possessing a class C drug (Ativan) and person under 21 possessing liquor. Pretrial hearing scheduled for July 6.

June 4

Steven Cartwright, 58, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on June 2 charges in West Tisbury of drunken driving, negligent operation of motor vehicle, number plate violation to conceal identity, operating motor vehicle with suspended license, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for July 20.

David C. Fecitt, 50, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on June 2 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, failure to stop/yield, and crosswalk violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for July 13.

Eleshia R. Hunter, 35, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on June 3 charge in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery on family/household member. Pretrial hearing scheduled for July 20.

June 5

Tyrone T. Barlosky, 36, of Vineyard Haven, had Jan. 25 charges in Oak Bluffs of breaking and entering a building in the daytime for felony, larceny more than $350 and larceny from a building dismissed upon request of commonwealth, insufficient evidence to proceed.

June 6

Jose C. Barahona, 42, of Vineyard Haven, found guilty in a jury trial on Dec. 10, 2015 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, second offense and negligent operation of motor vehicle, ordered to serve 90 days in house of correction, suspended two years and placed on probation for two years. Ordered to complete 14-day inpatient program and aftercare and to pay $600 in fees and $65 monthly probation services fee. Charge of leaving scene of property damage dismissed upon request of commonwealth prior to start of trial and responsible finding filed for one year on charge of possessing open container of alcohol in motor vehicle.

Claude A. Gibson, 43, of Edgartown, admitted to sufficient facts on July 16, 2017 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, continued without a finding for one year and ordered to complete driver alcohol education fee, lose license for 45 days, and pay $600 in fees and $65 monthly probation service fee and to pay $65 monthly probation services fee or complete 48 hours community service.

June 8

Jordan C. Glover, 33, of Aquinnah, had June 10, 2017 charges in Chilmark of assault and assault with dangerous weapon dismissed upon request of commonwealth without prejudice. Patrick A. Kelly, 62, of Edgartown, had June 4 charge in Edgartown of assault and battery on family/household member dismissed upon request of commonwealth, request of alleged victim.

Amanda Mcfarland, 21, of Vineyard Haven, had Feb. 27 charge in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery dismissed upon request of commonwealth, failure of alleged victim to cooperate.

Stephen W. Moore, 58, of Vineyard Haven, had March 9 charge in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery dismissed upon request of commonwealth, failure of alleged victim to cooperate.

John Reilly, 40, of New Canaan, Conn., was placed on six months of pretrial probation on June 1 charge in Edgartown of keeping a noisy and disorderly house.

Shane K. True, 36, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on June 7 charges in Oak Bluffs of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Bail set at $500 and pretrial hearing scheduled for July 2.

Jason R. Willoughby, 35, of Vineyard Haven, had Jan. 25 charge in Oak Bluffs of receiving stolen property more than $250 dismissed upon request of commonwealth, assertion of fifth amendment rights by witness.
