Ross G. Swiriduk, 60, of Vineyard Haven, was arraigned on Sept. 2 charges in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Oct. 26.

Stefan Turanjanin, 21, of Vineyard Haven, was arraigned on Sept. 2 charge in Edgartown of shoplifting by asportation, to be dismissed if $150 court costs paid forthwith.

Andrew A. Hakala, 23, of Edgartown, arraigned on Sept. 1 charges of drunken driving and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Oct. 26.

David C. Hawkins, 57, of Edgartown, was arraigned on Sept. 3 charge in Edgartown of disorderly conduct. Pretrial hearing is scheduled for Oct. 26. In a separate docket, Mr. Hawkins was arraigned on July 25 charges in Edgartown of disorderly conduct and trespassing. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Oct. 26. Michael J. Murphy, 66, of Vineyard Haven, was arraigned on August 31 charge in Edgartown of attempt to commit a crime. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Oct. 26.

Brian O’Gorman, 59, of Chilmark, was arraigned on Sept. 1 charges in Oak Bluffs of operation of a motor vehicle with suspended license, possession of open container of alcohol in motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle and failure to wear seat belt. Richard Shepard, 71, of Vineyard Haven, was arraigned on August 3 charges in Oak Bluffs of embezzlement/misapplication by fiduciary and larceny over $1,200. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Oct. 19.

Sept. 6

Anthony B. Jackson, 38, of Edgartown, pleaded guilty on July 28 charge in Edgartown of drunken driving, second offense, sentenced to 90 days in house of corrections, attend 14-day residential driver alcohol education program and aftercare, placed on probation for two years and ordered to pay $350 in fees plus $65 monthly probation services fee.

Dina M. Pratt, 46, of Uxbridge, admitted to sufficient facts on July 1 charge in Edgartown of larceny from a building, continued without a finding for six months, ordered to pay $90 in fees and $50 monthly probation services fee.

Quinn P. Smith, 22, of Fort Plain, N.Y., admitted to sufficient facts on July 8 charges in Edgartown of assault and battery and breaking and entering for misdemeanor, both continued without finding until all monies paid and then dismissed.

Frank V. Debicarri, 61, of Boston, had Nov. 20, 2017 charge in Edgartown of violating abuse prevention order dismissed upon request of commonwealth.

Barrett A. Saben, 66, of Oak Bluffs, admitted to sufficient facts on May 24 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, placed on probation for one year, ordered to complete driver alcohol education program and lose license for 45 days, pay $600 in fees and $65 monthly probation services fee.
