Feb. 11

John M. Dowling, 47, of Vineyard Haven, was arraigned on Feb. 6 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, and marked lanes violation. Further condition to remain alcohol free with SCRAM testing and no driving while case is pending. Pretrial hearing set for April 5, 2019.

Feb. 14

Anthony Marcantonio, 29, of Edgartown, admitted to sufficient facts on Nov. 15, 2018 charge in Edgartown of leaving the scene of property damage, continued without a finding for six months. Ordered to pay $50 monthly probation services fee and $50 victim/witness assessment.

Ryan E. Cabral, 40, of West Tisbury, was arraigned on Dec. 27, 2018 charge in West Tisbury of violating an abuse prevention order. Pretrial hearing set for March 15.

John M. Dowling, 47, of Vineyard Haven, pleaded guilty to Jan. 16 charge in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery on a family/household member. Placed on probation for 18 months. Ordered to pay $65 monthly probation services fee, $50 victim/witness assessment, complete certified batterer’s intervention, remain alcohol free with SCRAM testing, and no abuse of victim. Charges of threat to commit crime (murder) and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (cabinets) dismissed upon request of the commonwealth. In a separate docket, Mr. Dowling had Dec. 29, 2018 charges in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery on family/household member and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (remote control/clicker) dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Feb. 15

Alistair J. Morgan, 22, of Chilmark was arraigned on Feb. 7 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, second offense and OUI drugs, second offense. Pretrial hearing set for April 12.

Patrick Masse, 54, of Vineyard Haven, pleaded guilty to June 18, 2018 charge in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery on person 60-plus/disabled. Sentenced to 1 year house of correction, sentence served. Placed on probation for 18 months. Ordered to pay $65 monthly probation services fee, $90 victim/witness assessment, and complete counseling (to include anger issues) until professionally discharged. Further condition to stay away from and no contact with victim.
