The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

August 30

Raymond A. Perry, 27, of Edgartown pleaded not guilty to August 25 charges in Edgartown of drunken driving, second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 20.

Sept. 4

Robert J. Francis, 61, of West Tisbury, had August 25 charge in Vineyard Haven of disorderly conduct dismissed, nolle prosequi.

Sept. 5

Wemerson P. DeOliveira, 38, of Edgartown, had April 24 charge in Vineyard Haven of operating motor vehicle with license suspended, amended to subsequent offense dismissed if $500 costs paid by Nov. 6. Found not responsible on charge of failure to signal.

Sept. 12

Mark Edstrom, 37, of Anaheim, Calif., admitted to sufficient facts on Sept. 1, 2018 charge in Edgartown of drunken driving, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees and $65 monthly probation supervision fee. Required to complete 24-day driver alcohol education course as well as 45-day loss of license. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed upon request of the commonwealth. Found not responsible on charge of marked lanes violation.

Ashley M. Boulter, 31, of Edgartown, admitted to sufficient facts on June 18 charge in Edgartown of drunken driving, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees and $65 monthly probation supervision fee. Required to complete 24-day driver alcohol education course and 45-day loss of license. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed upon request of the commonwealth. Found not responsible on charge of marked lanes violation.

Adrain R. Wray, 37, of Kissimmee, Fla., was placed on two months of pretrial probation on August 7 charges in Oak Bluffs of using a motor vehicle without authority and breaking and entering for a misdemeanor. Restitution to be determined.

Austin W. Racine, 37, of Vineyard Haven was arraigned on August 1 charge in Vineyard Haven of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 1.

Delton D. Samuels, 46, of Oak Bluffs admitted to sufficient facts on August 25 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and motor vehicle lights violation. Found guilty. Ordered to pay $600 in fees and one year loss of right to operate motor vehicle in commonwealth. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed upon request of the commonwealth. Found not responsible on charge of motor vehicle lights violation.

Sept. 13

Andrew D. Williamson, 52, of Edgartown, was found not guilty in a bench trial on Jan. 27 charges in Edgartown of drunken driving and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Found responsible in a bench trial (hearing) on charge of marked lanes violation. Ordered to pay $100 fine/assessment. Patrick J. Cooley, 32, of Oak Bluffs pleaded guilty to June 12 charge in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery. Sentenced to six months in a house of correction, committed, with 50 days credit. Victim/witness assessment waived. Charge of assault and battery on person 60-plus/disabled dismissed upon request of the commonwealth, defendant consents.

Carson W. Bercot, 20, of Oak Bluffs was arraigned on July 27 charge in Oak Bluffs of leaving the scene of property damage. Defendant not present for second call, no pretrial hearing date set.

Erin L. Leone, 36, of Vineyard Haven pleaded not guilty to Sept. 7 charges in Edgartown of marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, drunken driving and operating motor vehicle with license suspended. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Oct. 4.
