Sept. 13

Richard D. Kiernan, 63, of Edgartown admitted to sufficient facts on May 21 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees and $65 monthly probation services fee. Probation conditions include completing 24-day driver alcohol education course and 45-day loss of license. Charges of negligent operation of motor vehicle and unlicensed operation of motor vehicle dismissed upon request of the commonwealth, defendant consents.

Sept. 16

Ashley M. Whittemore, 32, of Fall River was arraigned on Sept. 15 charges in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery on family/household member and strangulation or suffocation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Oct. 25.

David Curtis, 28, of South Dartmouth pleaded not guilty to Sept. 13 charges in Chilmark of drunken driving, second offense, possessing an open container of alcohol in vehicle, negligent operation of motor vehicle, marked lanes violation and failure to stop/yield. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Oct. 18.

Mishanty K. Bodden, 25, of Vineyard Haven was arraigned on Sept. 15 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, motor vehicle lights violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, motor vehicle operator refusal to identify self and unlicensed operation of motor vehicle. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Oct. 18.

Sept. 20

Guilherme J. Deoliveira, 20, of Oak Bluffs was found not guilty in a jury trial on Dec. 23, 2017 charge in Vineyard Haven of rape of child with force, amended to indecent assault and battery on victim over 14. Charge on August 3, 2018 of rape of child was dismissed, nolle prosequi.

Brian A. Henderson, 60, of Oak Bluffs had March 14 charges in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery on family household member and intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official dismissed upon request of the alleged victim.

Juliana D. Duarte, 41, of Vineyard Haven was arraigned on Sept. 19 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and unregistered motor vehicle. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 8.

Sept. 23

Michael Monahan, 45, of Chilmark pleaded not guilty to Sept. 21 charges in Vineyard Haven of child endangerment while driving drunk, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and number plate violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 8.

Sept. 26

Robert S. James, 47, of Vineyard Haven was arraigned on Sept. 24 charge in Vineyard Haven of violating an abuse prevention order. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Oct. 25.

Lynicker V. Souza, 25, of Vineyard Haven had Jan. 18 charge in Edgartown of keeping a noisy and disorderly house dismissed upon recommendation of the probation department.

Sergio Lopes Viera, 43, of Vineyard Haven pleaded not guilty to August 23 charges in Vineyard Haven of operating motor vehicle with license suspended for OUI and failure to stop/yield. Bail set at $2,000. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 14.

Joaquim D. Alves, 43, of Vineyard Haven was arraigned on August 24 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 14.

Aldair J. Dasilva, 23, of Framingham was arraigned on August 25 charges in Vineyard Haven of OUI-drugs (marijuana), unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 14.

Sept. 30

Thomas F. Keen 3rd, 38, of Vineyard Haven was arraigned on August 1 charges in Vineyard Haven of three counts of larceny under $1,200 (cigarettes, cash, vehicle ignition key). Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 1. In a separate docket, defendant was arraigned on August 2 charge in Vineyard Haven of malicious destruction of property greater than $1,200 (slashed tire, vehicle parts).

Reece T. Strelecki-Boyd, 27, of Edgartown, was arraigned on August 6 charge in Edgartown of disorderly conduct, subsequent offense. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 21.

Plamen P. Dunchev, 40, of West Tisbury, was arraigned on August 8 charge in Vineyard Haven of leaving the scene of property damage. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 12.
