The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

Sept. 20

Brian A. Henderson, 60, of Oak Bluffs had March 14 charges in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery on a family/household member and intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official dismissed upon request of the commonwealth, request of the alleged victim.

Sept. 26

April L. Cerrato, 32, of Oak Bluffs had Aug. 29, 2018 charge in Edgartown of larceny of library materials under $250 dismissed upon request of the commonwealth, defendant consents. In a separate docket, Ms. Cerrato had Sept. 9, 2018 charge of resisting arrest dismissed upon request of the commonwealth, defendant consents. In a separate docket, Ms. Cerrato had March 30 charge in Edgartown of resisting arrest dismissed upon request of the commonwealth, defendant consents.

Sept. 27

Hudson H. Valentino, 23, of Bradenton, Fla. admitted to sufficient facts on Sept. 10 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, continued without a finding for one year. Defendant required to pay $600 in fees and $65 monthly probation supervision fee. Ordered to complete 24-day driver alcohol education course and 45-day loss of license. Charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop for police dismsissed upon request of the commonwealth. Found not responsible on charge of speeding in violation of special regulation.

Sept. 30

Morgan Aguiare, 30, of Acushnet was arraigned on Sept. 28 charge in Edgartown of assault and battery on family/household member. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 18.

Margaret A. Labella, 71, of Salem pleaded not guilty to Sept. 27 charge in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, 3rd offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. Further conditions to remain alcohol free with screens and no operation of a motor vehicle. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 15.

Oct. 3

Marcio Alves, 59, of Oak Bluffs was arraigned on Dec. 10, 2015 charges in Edgartown of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 14. In a separate docket, Mr. Alves was arraigned on Dec. 11, 2015 charges in Edgartown of larceny over $250 and use of motor vehicle without authority. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 14.

Inelda Cable, 72, of Edgartown, had Sept. 20, 2018 charge in Edgartown of shoplifting by asportation dismissed if $100 costs paid forthwith. In a separate docket, Ms. Cable had Sept. 27, 2018 charge in Edgartown of trespassing dismissed if $100 costs paid forthwith.

Geycles DeCastro, 30, of Vineyard Haven had June 22 charge in Edgartown of assault and battery on family/household member dismissed upon request of the commonwealth. In a separate docket, Mr. DeCastro had June 24 charge in Edgartown of violating an abuse prevention order dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Daniella C. Andrade, 38, of Edgartown had July 23 charge in Edgartown of assault and battery on family/household member dismissed upon request of the commonwealth, noting failure of alleged victim to cooperate.

Maria P. Ferreira, 43, of Edgartown had July 28 charges in Edgartown of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (glass coffee pot) and assault and battery dismissed upon request of the commonwealth, lack of prosecution.
