The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

Jan. 30

Lourens M. Fourie, 30, of Vineyard Haven, was arraigned on Jan. 28 charges in Oak Bluffs on two charges of assault and battery on a family or household member, two charges of vandalizing property and a charge of larceny from a person. Bail set at $1,000. Defendant being held at Dukes County Jail and House of Corrections. Discovery compliance and jury election scheduled for March 17.

Feb. 6

George Fauteux, 44, of Edgartown, was arraigned on Feb. 4 charges in Vineyard Haven of assault on a family or household member, reckless endangerment of a child, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation. Defendant released on payment of $450 bail and with further condition to abide by all active restraining order conditions. Pretrial hearing scheduled for March 17.

George Fauteux, 44, of Edgartown, was arraigned on Feb. 4 charges in Edgartown of possessing a firearm without firearms identification card and improper storage of a firearm. Defendant released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing scheduled for March 17.

Felix Reagan, 26, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on Jan. 16 charges in Edgartown of assault and battery on a person who is disabled or over the age of 60, assault and battery, and assault with a dangerous weapon on a person over the age of 60. Bail set at $100. Defendant being held at Dukes County Jail and House of Corrections. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Feb. 17.

Feb. 9

Timothy J. Dyke, 61, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on a Feb. 7 charge in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery on a family or household member. Defendant released on payment of $250 bail and with further conditions to stay away from and have no contact with alleged victim and to be alcohol free. Pretrial hearing scheduled for March 17.

Feb. 10

Jaroslav Darien Kral, 18, of Edgartown, was arraigned on Jan. 12 charges in Vineyard Haven of unarmed robbery, larceny from a person, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and larceny under $1,200. Defendant released upon payment of $100 surety and $150 counsel fee. Probable cause hearing scheduled for March 6.
