Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation, Inc. has opened the application process for its Racial Equity Grant Program. The foundation will offer one-time grants of up to $15,000 to support internal organizational or external community-focused projects. During the program’s first cycle in 2021, 45 nonprofits received funding.

Organizations may request funding for new racial equity initiatives or further existing work within their nonprofit or community. Examples of eligible program types include racial equity training for board and staff, education events to foster dialogue and understanding, review of organizational policies, creation of a DEI strategic plan and staff and client focus groups.
