The Martha’s Vineyard Film Center will screen the documentary Great White Summer on Sept. 12. The film picks up six months after the 2018 fatal shark attack on Cape Cod as an ensemble cast of surfers, activists, concerned parents, scientists and nature lovers struggle to find the best path forward.
Great White Summer had its world premiere at the International Ocean Film Festival in April and was released on streaming platforms iTunes, Amazon and Google on Sept. 3.
The screening at the film center begins at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
