We have a couple of adoptions to report this week at the Animal Shelter. Cleo the German Shepherd has found her forever family and so has Kovu the year-old black cat. Wishing everyone a lifetime of happiness.

Our pet of the week is Nellie, a beautiful 13-year-old, medium hair, torbi cat. Nellie is shy and fearful but has been making great progress lately. She now comes out when being fed and has begun to seek out a little bit of attention displaying a very sweet nature. We expect that she will blossom once she finds her person and goes to a home where she feels safe. We believe she would do best in a quiet environment and possibly as an only cat, but she does show interest in the other cats here at the shelter. Come meet her and see if you fall for each other.

At the nail clinic last Saturday, we had 28 animals show up to have their nails trimmed and raised $560 for the shelter. Thank you to all who participated.
