I call him the Basketball Kid. A young boy has gotten off the school bus on my corner for years. He might be in high school now but elementary school kids are so tall, so who knows. For years he gets off the school bus dribbling a basketball turning at the next street around the corner from my house. Then I hear him dribbling and shooting. On school days off I hear him shooting and dribbling all day. I want to go meet him but I can’t walk or drive that far. I admire him so much. A future Celtic? I hope so.
