A service for Garry deNeuville Hough 3rd, who died August 17 in Orange City, Fla., will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 3 p.m. at his family’s plot in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Vineyard Haven.

The Rev. John Ames, retired minister of South Congregational Church in Springfield, will officiate.

Dr. Hough was a life-long resident of Longmeadow and maintained an orthopedic surgery practice in Springfield until his retirement in 1986. A celebration of Dr. Hough’s life will follow at his daughter Alice Robinson’s home in Vineyard Haven.
