Mary (Bushy) Francis Campbell Boak of Annapolis, Md. died March 26 in Annapolis. She was 91.

She was born Feb. 5, 1922 in Mountain View, Ark. She attended Hendrix College in Arkansas, and worked for the Department of Defense with the Army and at the Pentagon as an executive secretary.

She was married to David Boak in 1950 at the Washington Cathedral. She and her husband built their own cottage in Oak Bluffs, where they spent their summers for over 50 years. Her interests included bird watching, painting, ikebana and reading.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2006.

Mary is survived by her brother, the Rev. J. Donald Campbell, and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, in laws, godchildren and many dear friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 13 12:30 p.m. at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home in Annapolis. Friends and family may call at noon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Washington National Cathedral or to the Island Elderly Housing: 60 Village Road, Vineyard Haven, MA 02568.
