Janet Ann Brown Cliggott died June 14, 2017 at the age of 89.
Many years have passed since, yet her warm presence has never diminished.
Janet grew up as an only child to a single mom, but she went on to have five children and seven grandchildren. She was married to Dick Cliggott for
57 years, until his death several years prior to her passing.
Janet loved good design, antiques, fashion, museums, Broadway plays, but was just as happy alone at home with a cup of tea and a good book, as she had that rare quality of being inwardly content, which benefited everyone around her.
She loved silliness, and was a lifelong fan of the TV show I love Lucy. Alongside her handsome husband, her other true love was Frank Sinatra.
Janet was brave, independent, selfless, elegant, kind, thoughtful, patient, and deeply devoted to her family.
She had remarkable composure and grace throughout her entire life. Her loving heart lives on in all of ours, every single day.
