A small group of protesters gathered at Five Corners in Vineyard Haven Wednesday to speak out against state and local pandemic restrictions that have temporarily put them and others out of work.

A small cooking explosion at Vineyard Carribbean Cuisine drew a full emergency response on Tuesday afternoon, snarling traffic at Five Corners.

Women, families with young children, husbands and grandparents gathered at Five Corners on Tuesday to rally for abortion rights.

The vast majority of respondents to a survey conducted this year by the Martha’s Vineyard Commission named the Five Corners intersection in Vineyard Haven as the most dangerous area on the Island.
