The Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School girls tennis team fell 0-5 in the Division 3 state championship title match against Dover-Sherborn Sunday evening at MIT.

After a season that defied expectations, the boys tennis team fell to Wayland High School in the semifinal of the state tournament, ending their championship run.

Family, friends, former coaches and teammates gathered Saturday at the regional high school tennis courts to pay tribute to tennis coach Kevin Lewis who died in November.
