Tisbury Fire Department Car Show

The 11th annual Tisbury Fire Department classic car show rolls into town this Labor Day weekend. With rain in the forecast, the event has been moved to a rain date of Monday, Sept. 4 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the regional high school.

Classic cars will be on display along with other attractions including live music, a kids zone, a bouncy house, a climbing wall, and vendors. Burgers and hot dogs will be for sale.

Festival of Wheels at Tisbury Car Show

Classic vintage automobiles, custom trucks and and polished hot rods lined Main street on Sunday for the Tisbury Firefighter Association’s Annual Car Show. The show is in its eighth year and raises money for the fallen firefighter fund.

Tisbury Firefighters Car Show Rolls Into Town

The Tisbury Firefighters Association invites everyone to its annual Car Show, open this Saturday, July 23, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the RM Packer lot and docks on Beach Road in Vineyard Haven.

The show includes more than 50 cars — from classic, custom, antiques and hot rods — and this year includes custom motorcycles. Most of the cars are Island-owned and operated.

The fourth annual Tisbury volunteer fire department car show will be held on July 24 at Boch Park, directly across from the Xtra Mart on Beach Road in Vineyard Haven.

The fun begins at 4 p.m. with a variety of special interest cars — and for the first time this year motorcycles — followed by live music and a pig roast. No alcohol will be allowed at this family-friendly event.

Bliss, of the Regal Shoe, who brought this vehicle down from Boston Saturday night. Mr. Bliss had his locomobile out on Sunday, and it worked very satisfactorily on our streets.
