Edgartown Dream Home Has New Owner, No Sweepstakes Required
The Home and Garden Television dream home in Edgartown has new owners this week — and they did not have to enter a sweepstakes to get the keys. Rosemary O’Brien and Eigil D. Rothe of Washington D.C. bought the house at 15 Crocker Drive on July 8 for $2,315,000.

An Alabama woman was named the new owner of an Edgartown home Tuesday — and millions of other would-be residents were disappointed — as Home and Garden Television announced the winner of the network’s annual dream home giveaway.

Welcome Home, HGTV Dream House Is Furnished Island Style
On Wednesday morning, representatives from Home & Garden Television gave a tour of the latest Dream House to be given away in early 2015. The house is on Crocker Drive in Edgartown and all the artwork was sourced locally.

HGTV Dream Home Has Edgartown Address
In August, Cable network HGTV revealed the Vineyard as its location for the 19th annual Dream Home giveaway and sweepstakes. The grand Cape Cod-style home in Katama was completed last month, and a drawing for the home will be held in May 2015.
