Colorful rows of flowers, vegetables and herbs were taking shape this week at Martha’s Vineyard High School, where the 20th annual plant sale, organized by the school’s horticulture, aquaculture and landscaping department, will begin Thursday and run through next week.

Julianne Vanderhoop Wins Aquinnah Selectman's Race

Julianne Vanderhoop unseated incumbent Aquinnah selectman Beverly Wright in the annual town election Wednesday. The vote was 93 to 69.

The orange kittens are entertaining the staff and those who come to visit them. Foxy, a 2-year-old female Maine coon, is becoming a little more sociable. Ten-year-old Cody, also a shy girl, is also waiting for adoption.
