This past week’s storm caused the waves at South Beach to be high and they did some washing away of the little beach we have left. But, you still can’t resist going down to the beach and watching the waves rolling in.

It is 50 degrees outside so I am thinking it will not be a white Christmas, but by the time you read this column you will certainly know. Happy birthday to all who celebrated their day this past week. Big balloons go out to Samantha Folts, who celebrated her day Dec. 22; Hannah Rabasca and Zachary Vukota, Dec. 24; Neto Batista, Molly Pogue, Paige Pogue, and Spencer Pogue, who all celebrated Dec. 26, and to Caroline Conover, Emma Herrick and Rebecca Parente, who celebrated their day today, Dec. 20.

Warm and cold, we’ve had an array of temperatures. We are supposed to have 60 degree weather and then get back to freezing. It is no wonder that people have colds and sore throats, but I will take the sunshine.

Jasmyn Hershey and Nia Hughes celebrated Dec. 3. Michaela Benefit and Karla Robadel had cake on Dec. 5, and happy birthday to Jerry DaSilva, who celebrates his day today, Dec. 6.

First we are cold, now we are warm and now the cold is coming in for the rest of the week and weekend. The thermostat is up then it is down. We are so confused, but what can we do?
