Robert Aitken Potts Jr. of West Tisbury died at home on Saturday night, Oct. 11, with his wife of 50 years, Marjory, beside him. He was 84.

Helen Gans Hines, a Vineyard summer resident for nearly 40 years, died peacefully on Oct. 4 at her home in Lantana, Fla. She was 93.

Roswell Scudder Patterson of Endwell, N.Y., and Oak Bluffs, died peacefully at home on Oct. 19. He was 93.

Mary Landers of Oak Bluffs died Oct. 13, a few weeks shy of her 94th birthday.

Francis Cole of Alexandria, Va., died on Oct. 2.

Marvin Mayhew Burnham of Wilton, Me., died on Friday, Oct. 10, in his home. He was 79.

Mary Lance Peterson of Providence, R.I., died June 26. She was a longtime resident of Southampton, N.Y., and Oak Bluffs.

William Moore Peterson of Providence, R.I., died August 13. He was a longtime resident of Southampton, N.Y., and Oak Bluffs.

Marjorie Jean Bannon White-Wilson died unexpectedly on Sept. 19 at Windemere Nursing Home, one month before her 90th birthday.
