The Agricultural Society fairgrounds were abuzz on Saturday as West Tisbury Farmers’ Market vendors lined up their Toyota trucks and Subarus, knocked the dust off pop-up tents, and laid out folding tables with Island-grown goodies.
The West Tisbury Farmers’ Market will continue at the Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Society on Panhandle Road, following a unanimous vote by the town zoning board of appeals Thursday.
Despite a light morning rain, cheerful crowds headed to the Agricultural Hall grounds on Saturday morning for the first West Tisbury Farmers’ Market of the season.
After a strong season and unusual summer, the West Tisbury Farmers’ market will extend its outdoor market through the end of October, pending approval from the West Tisbury selectmen, market managers confirmed Friday.
