Easter Sunday marked the fifth day of no new confirmed cases of Covid-19 on Martha's Vineyard. The Island hospital reported only three tests were still outstanding, and no one is hospitalized with the coronavirus.

No new coronavirus cases were reported on Martha’s Vineyard Sunday, while statewide cases continued to rise and a new field hospital on Cape Cod was announced by Gov. Charlie Baker.

Two more cases of Covid-19 were confirmed Saturday, bringing the total of confirmed cases on the Island to 12. No one with the virus is hospitalized at the Martha's Vineyard Hospital.

No new cases of Covid-19 were reported on Martha’s Vineyard Wednesday, but with nine confirmed cases and counting, a flurry of preparations continued around the Island.

Amid rising numbers of confirmed cases of Covid-19, Gov. Charlie Baker extended a statewide stay-at-home order to May 4 Tuesday, and a ninth confirmed case was reported on Martha’s Vineyard.

No new coronavirus cases were reported as of Tuesday, the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital said. In a morning briefing, hospital spokesman Katrina Delgadillo said the hosital had performed 101 tests to date. There are currently eight confirmed cases on the Island.
