The popular Island radio host has won three Massachusetts Broadcasters Association awards for her Vineyard Current public affairs program.
For 32 years, Barbara Dacey has been the voice of radio station WMVY. Last month she announced that she will step away from the station at the end of the year.
Ms. Dacey, director of worldwide programming at WMVY, will leave the station where she has worked since 1985 at the end of the year.
