The Chilmark fire department responded to a small brush fire on Larsen Lane Wednesday evening.
The fire was about 50 square feet and burned a few small dinghys with trailers. Fire crews arrived at the fire just after 7 p.m. and quickly extinguished the flames.
There were no injuries and only minor property damage, said Chilmark fire Chief Manny Rose. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
