The Martha’s Vineyard Branch of NAACP will hold a general membership meeting on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 10 a.m., at the Tisbury Senior Center, 34 Pine Tree Road, Vineyard Haven.
Members are encouraged to attend as the meeting concerns nomination for all branch officer positions.
The standard elected branch offices under the NAACP bylaws are: president, first vice president, second vice president, secretary, assistant secretary, treasurer and assistant treasurer.
Executive committee positions are also subject to the branch election process.
Elections for these positions will occur electronically via the National NAACP tool “Election Buddy,” immediately following the regularly scheduled membership meeting on Saturday, Nov. 21.
