Tisbury voters head to the polls Tuesday for the last annual town election of the year and a final vote on the Islandwide housing bank.

Polls are open from noon to 8 p.m. at the emergency services building on Spring street.

After enthusiastically backing the measure at town meeting in April, Tisbury will become the last town on the Island to vote on the housing bank, which easily won approval from the five towns at their town meetings and elections.

Voters also will be asked to approve a $750,000 Proposition 2 1/2 override for the coming fiscal year, as well as a nonbinding ballot question opposing the dumping of radioactive wastewater from the decommissioned Patriot nuclear plant in Plymouth.

At the top of the ballot, John Cahill is running for a three-year seat on the select board seat being vacated by Jeff Kristal, who announced earlier this year he would not seek re-election.

Three seats on the finance advisory committee, three on the board of assessors and one each on the board of health, school committee, water commission, planning board and Martha’s Vineyard Land Bank commission are also up for election.

Casey Ann Hayward is the sole candidate for the five-year planning board position.

All the other seats have three-year terms, with the exception of one two-year term on the board of assessors — sought by Fala Freeman — and one one-year term on the same board, sought by James B. Norton.

David Dandridge is running for re-election to a three-year term on the board of assessors.

Michael Loberg seeks another term on the board of health and Mike Watts is up for re-election to the school committee.

Other unopposed incumbents on the ballot include Michael Ciancio for constable, Elmer Silva for water commissioner and Rachel Orr for the finance and advisory committee.

Louise Clough and John Frank Oliver are seeking the other two open seats on the finance committee.

Archibald Alexander Smith and Myra Stark are running for re-election to the library board of trustees, with Eizabeth L. Bates seeking the third open seat.
