Vineyard Haven harbor will welcome Hokule'a on Tuesday, June 28 as part of her three-year Malama Honua (Caring for Our Earth) voyage. Sailing from Hawaii, Hokule'a is guided by stars, wind, waves, and movement of birds to navigate around the world. The goal of the trip is to “weave a lei of hope” by sharing the stories of people working to achieve a sustainable way of life.
