Featherstone Center for the Arts
Featherstone is a year-round community arts center. It was founded in 1980 and is the only year round non-profit arts center on the Island. The grounds at Featherstone offer a photography lab, monoprinting, weaving, and pottery studios, classrooms, a library, computer lab, a Teen Art Café. The newly Art Barn features the Island's first purpose-built gallery space.

The museum opened on March 13, 2019 at its new location in the former Marine Hospital overlooking Vineyard Haven Harbor. The building dates to 1895, when it was built as a refuge for sailors. The museum boasts a wide range of artifacts and collections chronicling Island history and culture, including a rare Fresnel lens built in 1854 in France for the Gay Head Light.

It is located at the Stone Church in Vineyard Haven. Current hours are Mondays, 3 to 6 p.m.; Wednesdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. to noon; and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
