I’m so sorry to hear that the Vineyarders lost, but it sounds like they fought well. I should have gone to the game, as I live right across from Bentley University, but the weather was sooo cold!
I just want the players to know how proud I am of them and their effort. Perhaps losing isn’t the best but playing with heart and respect for your community is. Know that you guys have continued a long tradition of success in the Vineyard Football Family… You are all on the right track to becoming outstanding men. Thanks for letting me be apart of a great TEAM!!!!Ruley
“Heartbreaker”? Who wrote that….this was an obliteration. Congratulations to the Vineyarders on a good season, but don’t blame it on the turnovers; Amesbury has a lot to do with it and, if they hadn’t taken their foot off the pedal, it could have been 60-7.
So, the Grapes got crushed. Congratulations, Amesbury. The better team won.
