On Tuesday, March 17, Elliott Dacher, MD, will present a talk at the Vineyard Haven Public Library called The Meeting of Science and Spirit: Implications for Health and Healing. For many years, Dr. Dacher has brought together the worlds of medicine and mind, and promoting the health benefits of regular meditation.
At his talk, Dr. Dacher will discuss the role of consciousness and spirit in health and healing. Historically, these approaches have been viewed as separate, but recent advances in science have begun to bridge the gap between science and spirit.
The talk is part of the library's regular evening lecture series. It will begin at 7 p.m.
